Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and similar storage technologies we use on this website, why we use them, and how you can control them under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners. Local storage and session storage work similarly — they let a website remember information between page loads.
What we use today
We have made a deliberate decision to keep our use of cookies and tracking to an absolute minimum. Today we use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
zenox-consent-v1 | Local storage — strictly necessary | Stores your cookie consent preference so we don’t ask again on every page load. | 12 months |
Strictly necessary storage like the consent record above does not require your consent under PECR — but we mention it here so you know exactly what is stored.
Cookies we may add in future
If we decide to add the technologies below, we will only enable them with your explicit consent via the cookie banner. They are listed here so you understand the categories we may ask you about:
- Analytics — privacy-focused analytics (e.g. Plausible or Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages are most useful. We would not use Google Analytics.
- Functional — to remember user-interface preferences (e.g. dismissed banners).
We do not intend to add advertising or social-media cookies.
Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. The cookie banner appears on first visit; if you have already responded, you can reopen it by clearing your browser’s local storage for this domain.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the website.
Third parties
When you submit our contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, your data is sent to Resend (our email delivery processor) and stored briefly by Vercel (our host). Neither service sets cookies on our domain. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and — for non-essential cookies — ask for your consent again.
